HELLO HUMANS OF THE WORLD.
Welcome to the corner of the internet I christened Pixelated Lifestyle.
My name is Kristian. I am a world traveler, movie lover and reluctant procrastinator. Like most people, I have a lot of thoughts and memories scrambling around this head of mine. This blog is an attempt to turn those electrical impulses in my brain into pixels on a screen, in order to live forever inside of the internet. Isn’t that what we all hope for?
Thank you for liking my post. I’ve read a few of your posts. You are a very gifted writer for such a young person. I like your style.

Hi Kristian. I like that comment “to live forever inside the internet. Isn’t that what we all hope for”? A legacy, a continued existence, it’s such an age old wish and indeed many argue the make up of our very biology. Unfortunately, life will never continue in it’s original and forceful state – and that’s what makes it SO important to live it as fully as possible. Really enjoyed having a poke around your blog. Keep it up. Take care, Kazza

Hi Kazza, thank you for stopping by! And exactly! I think a lot of people are too apprehensive about the future that they forget to live for the present. Something I am trying to work on myself.
Hope you’re having a good day, Kristian

hi Kristian. what a refreshing blog!
“to live forever inside the internet. Isn’t that what we all hope for?” reminds me of one of my first attempts at almost-blogging over at a community photo sharing site that is long gone, webshots, the way it used to be. the owners sold it and the new owners, who were actually the originally owners but that goes beyond the scope of this comment, decided it was no longer financially viable to offer the community aspect of it, and discontinued the service. everyone was given a couple of month’s notice, and then millions of images and stories along with everyone’s comments and connections with strangers around the globe vanished off into cyberspace.
so blogging at wordpress became a viable alternative for some. it is certainly an attempt to reach out and share virtual hospitality – and the journey is quite rewarding, just as your moped experience and visiting a stranger in the middle of the night turned out to be in Indonesia.
oops. not my blog. enough said. thanks for visiting my corner and for following. blog on!

urk – that was supposed to say …”and the new owners, who were actually the original owners….”

I’m glad you think so!
It is a scary thought that your ‘online presence’ could suddenly vanish into cyberspace. People (myself included) have become so depended on saving moments and memories on the internet.
I have only started blogging two weeks ago but have been blown away by how many interesting and friendly people there are in the blogging community. It has been very rewarding so far and can’t wait to become more integrated.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you will again!
Take care, Kristian

wow, well done for only two weeks of blogging.
if you are at all interested, wordpress hosts a blog, the daily post – as in dailypost dot wordpress dot com, and there is a weekly photo challenge where all bloggers, whether they are into photography or not, are encouraged to participate and share their interpretation of a particular theme in images. i personally found that very enjoyable. no pressure of course, but thought i’d pass that along in case you would like to know.
if interested, feel free to check out the daily post, and the photo challenges can be found under their ‘events’ link. there are also daily challenges as an option, and lots of other useful info over there.

Thank you for the heads up! I have just followed the Daily Post and will certainly try and participate in the challenge. I love photography so it definitely sounds like something I would be interested in.
Thanks again

I clicked on your name when you followed my blog. After reading a blog’s About page I usually go find the first post to kind of get an idea of where things began, and finding that yours included a tribute to Darjeeling Limited, I am anticipating enjoying your blog. Just thought I’d throw that out there. 🙂

You deserve it. I wish Others would write as good as you.
I remember a line from a movie saying Blogging is nothing but graffiti with punctuation and with certain people concerning grammar, punctuation, and so on I find it hard to not correct them on everything. I know I’m not perfect I’m sure but I do try.

Hi Kristian, What a lovely tribute to Bali, my (current) island home. I’ve yet to meet a traveler who, much like you, hasn’t left the country untouched by its natural beauty and people. Thanks for introducing me to your pixelated blog – and thanks so much for dropping by mine. Happy new year!

Hi…wonderful to have a look around your blog. Thanks for following my poetry. The best to you in 2015. I look forward to reading more from you. Your opportunity to serve in Indonesia is something I’ve always wanted to do. I serve where I can here in America, but serving or being on mission overseas is my 2015 goal.
